Early one morning at the age of 5, severe thunderstorms prevented me from joining my dad on a hunt for a turkey we had roosted the night before, that’s where it all began. I have been obsessed with being in the outdoors ever since. I started my career at Realtree at the age of 16.  My passion for the outdoors grew into more than just hunting, I wanted to learn how to film hunts and tell stories.  That led to filming and producing outdoor television for Realtree Outdoors Productions for over 17 years.  “Obsessed with turkey hunting” doesn’t describe it well enough, hunting is a way of life for me. In time that created opportunities, I started out guiding and filming other hunters, then began co-hosting Realtree’s digital series “Spring Thunder” in 2018, that still airs today.  In the summer of 2020, I had a vision for a new series, “Hunt Club with Phillip Culpepper”.  This series tells the real stories of highs and the lows of hunting with friends and family.
